Public Perception of the Lottery
- Over the past 15 years, public perception of the lottery has notably improved.
- Significant increases were observed in the following areas:
- Transparency in the use of public funds (+21.6%p)
- Positive perception of the lottery system (+15.4%p)
- The idea of the lottery as a form of sharing (+9.9%p)

Priority Areas for Lottery Fund Support
- When asked to choose up to three areas that should be prioritized for lottery fund allocation,
- "Welfare for the underprivileged" ranked highest, selected by 81.1% of respondents.

Lottery Purchase Behavior in the Past Year
- 56.4% of adults reported having purchased a lottery ticket within the past year.
- Among Lotto participants, the most common purchase frequency was once a month(24.4%).

Average Spending per Lottery Purchase
- Most purchasers of Lotto 6/45 and Pension Lottery 720+ spent less than KRW 10,000 per purchase.

※ This survey was conducted by Ipos between October 7th and November 4th, 2024,
targeting a nationally representative sample of 1,020 adults aged 19 and older.
